About The Hill Family: Our Next Homeowner Family
Chyenne and her family were accepted in the Habitat Home Buyer program in July 2016. Chyenne applied to Habitat so she could provide a better life for her children. She currently lives in an overcrowded mobile home with her children Chiniece, Jabrairon, Justin, Achiya, Tyteonna, Jameson, Juleah and Jacoby.
Chyenne was born and raised in Conway and has worked in the hospitality industry for the past seven years. She currently is an Assistant Manager at a local restaurant. Chyenne and her children are one of the fastest families to work through the Habitat Home Buyer Program. They are hardworking and always have positive attitudes. The children are all active in sports and karate and talk frequently about how they can’t wait to decide who gets to share a room when they have a house. Chyenne says she will continue to strive for a positive and brighter future for her children and looks forward to the day when they have a place to call home.

- 1990 – Certificate of Incorporation was signed
- 1991 – Habitat International recognized Affiliate
- 1994 –Judy Swanson was hired as first Executive Director
- 1996 – ReStore opened its first location at Waccamaw Pottery
- 2000 – Gail Olive was hired as next Executive Director
- ReStore moved to Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach
- 2001- 40th Family Served
- 2002 – Village of Dreams, Phase 1 (8 homes) began construction
- 2004 – ReStore and Office moved to Executive Avenue in Myrtle Beach
- 2006 – First Builders Blitz – 4 homes were built in 1 week
- 2007 – Village of Dreams, Phase 2 (7 homes) began
- First Apostle Build occurred in North Myrtle Beach
- First Women Build (Women Build Week celebrated each May)
- 2008 – Second Builders Blitz – 6 homes built in 1 week
- Second Apostle Build occurred in Conway
- 2010 – Third Apostle Build occurred in North Myrtle Beach
- 2000-2010 – Total of 71 homes completed and 2 rehabilitated
- 2011 – ReStore and Office moved to current location, 165 Co-op Road in Socastee
- 2014 – Carla Schuessler was hired as the next Executive Director
- Children’s program was added to the monthly home buyer meetings
- 2015 – Broke ground on 125th home
- Partnership formed with CRG with 126th home fully sponsored and built as the result
- 2016 – Celebration of 25 years of service to Horry County
- Third Builders Blitz – Classic Homes built 1 house in 1 week
- Wells Fargo Fully Sponsored 129th Build
- Closed on 131st home
- S. Parker, Well Spring Church and Anderson Brothers Bank fund and build Home
